Open the side charms by moving your mouse to the top right of the screen. Then click <strong>Search<\/strong>. Search for <em>Mail<\/em> then click on <strong>Settings<\/strong>. ( <em>for Windows 7 and below go to Start -&gt; Control Panel and search for Mail<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>2. On the left side of the screen click on <strong>Mail<\/strong>. Then Click on <strong>Add\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-664\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/gotowebsmith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/2013-1.png\" style=\"width: 272px; height: 312px;\" width=\"272\" height=\"312\"><\/p>\n<p>3. The Profile Name can be anything you would like. Click <strong>Next<\/strong> and select <strong>Manual setup or additional server types<\/strong>. Select <strong>IMAP<\/strong> and click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>4. In this new Window input the corresponding information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; a. User Information (Recipient will see)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; i. Full name: First and Last Name<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ii. Email address: <a href=\"mailto:user@domain.com\">user@domain.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; b. Server Information (Servers that the email will use)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ii. Click on&nbsp;<strong>More Settings<\/strong> then click the <strong>Outgoing Server<\/strong> Tab<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; a. Check the box for <strong>My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; b. Click on the <strong>Advanced<\/strong> Tab<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; a. If using secure.emailsrvr.com first change&nbsp;<strong>Use the following type of encrypted connection:<\/strong>&nbsp; to <strong>SSL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; b. Then change the port numbers to match the chart on step 4.b. Click \u201cNext\u201d Outlook will now attempt to send a test message using the settings we have just put in.
